Erika Cardigan
The body is worked back and forth in one piece on a circular needle to the underarm, then the fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders. The sleeves are worked flat, and are approximately 4” longer than usual to accommodate a thumb opening. Work the first and last stitches of each row in St st for edge stitches. When decreasing, work k1, ssk at beginning of RS rows and k2tog, k1 at end; work p1, p2tog at beginning of WS rows and ssp, p1 at end.
