Eriks Cabin
Erik was my great grandfather.
He was supposebly not the nicest man - but he was strong like an ox & he fathered 18 children. All I know of him is from a book his son wrote about him. I am grateful for this treasure.
He was a poor farmer, and he lived in this little house which is still here, really near to my house. In the book he speaks about the house a lot - so I made his house, fire stove going, one chilly winter morning.
I used:
The greens are Novita 7 Broder & Svarta Farets Raggsocksgarn
The black Novita 7 Broder
The sky is made with fingering alpaca 2 colors held together - I blue & 1 purple, held double & varying which color to build the feeling o this chilly winter morning.
Have fun with these socks
Just send me a message if you have any questions
Hugs // Marie
