Carol has designed the Erin shawl for us at Yarn Vibes. The shawl photographed was made using Glen Field Medium in a sport weight. This shawl incorporates garter stitch and lace work which work beautifully together to create a striking finished piece. Carol has included a leaf inspired motif in the lacework portions of this shawl to create extra depth, texture and interest. The design is reminiscent of the greenery, foliage and botanical life that can be found throughout the Irish countryside.
