Cushion Buckwheat (Eriogonum ovalifolium) is a small, colourful alpine flower found in southern Alberta. Cushion Buckwheat blooms in a small round cluster on a short, fuzzy stalk. The flowers of Cushion Buckwheat range from yellows to reds to pinks. The pretty pink flowers of this alpine bloom are the inspiration for this cozy ribbed cowl.
