The Eris socks are a pair of textured socks knitted from the cuff down. They feature a twisted ribbing cuff and a simple knit and purl motif worked around the leg and on the top of the foot.
The pattern includes two heel options, charted and written instructions.

Yarn :
You will need 210 (225 / 240), (270 / 285 / 305) m – 230 (250 / 265), (295 / 315 / 335) yds of fingering weight sock yarn.

Note that these estimates correspond to a 9 cm – 3 ½“ leg length.

The sample used three different colours, changing at even points along the sock, using
colour A for the cuff and about three quarters of the leg (2 ½ pattern repeats),
colour B for the rest of the leg, the heel and the gusset decreases (3 pattern repeats),
colour C for most of the foot (3 pattern repeats),
colour A again for the rest of the foot and the toe (1 ½ pattern repeat).

To replicate this colour sequence, you will need about
80 (85 / 90), (100 / 105 / 110) m – 90 (95 / 100), (110 / 115 / 120) yds of colour A,
50 (55 / 60), (70 / 75 / 85) m – 55 (60 / 65), (80 / 85 / 95) yds of colour B ,
and 80 (85 / 90), (100 / 105 / 110) m – 90 (95 / 100), (110 / 115 / 120) yds of colour C.

The sample was knit using Filcolana Arwetta (210 m – 230 yds / 50 g) in 148 Deep Olive, 202 Teal and 254 Coral.

Needles :
2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles or DPNs
or size required to get gauge

Gauge :
32 sts x 40 rnds per 10 cm – 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking

Sizes :
The pattern is written for a 58 (62 / 66), (70 / 74 / 78) stitch count.
18 (19.5 / 20.5), (22 / 23 / 24.5) cm – 7 (7 ¾ / 8), (8 ¾ / 9 / 9 ¾)“ finished circumference.
Measure your foot at its widest point under the toes and choose a size with about 2.5 cm – 1” negative ease.

Les chaussettes Eris sont une paire texturées tricotées des côtes vers la pointe. Elles sont faites avec des côtes torses et un motif simple de mailles endroit et envers tricoté autour de la jambe et sur le dessus du pied.

Le modèle a utilisé trois couleurs différentes, en changeant à intervalles réguliers le long de la chaussette en prenant :
