Meet Ernie Egg! I was drafting a blog for Easter and was inspired to knit him to capture the painting of eggs that we used to do as kids. It was meant to be just a painted egg but I found I needed to give it a face so Ernie appeared instead! Hope you like him.

He’s about 5 inches tall (ish), not including legs or hair. You can knit him out of any egg-coloured DK yarn or even make him more colourful - it only takes small amounts of yarn. I used 3mm needles but tension is not critical.
