I wanted to use simple stitches to show off the yarn! I used a V-stitch to give it an open, lacy feel while keeping the pattern pretty easy and mindless. The two rows of double crochet help to open up the stitches while also giving the scarf a bit more structure. The inspiration for the scarf comes from thinking of my mom sitting on her patio enjoying a cup of tea and a book on a warm summer evening. The scarf is named for her, and I just love it (and I love my mom!)

The free pattern is available on my blog. There are also links to etsy where you can purchase the easy to read downloadable PDF for a low price.
