Finished Size 11 1/2” wide and 70” long.

Yarn Rowan Felted Tweed Aran (50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose; 95 yd 87 m/1 3/4 oz 50 g): #738 dark violet, 6 balls. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.

Needles Sizes 8 (5 mm) and 10 1/2 (6.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; five 3/4” buttons.

Gauge 17 sts and 20 rows = 4” in charted patt on larger needles.

Mirrored right and left cables travel the length of the generous Erstwhile Scarf. The ends button into an infinity scarf, which loops double for a cozy cowl.
