Escalante Tank
This versatile strappy tank will become a summer staple. Named after canyon country in Southern Utah, the lines on this top resemble the steep sandstone walls of the desert.
Sizing Notes
If you knit it with the built-in pattern ease, you’ll get a drapey tank with a looser bust — great for layering with a bralette and for those with a fuller bust. If you’d prefer a tighter cami-style fit with more support, or if your bust is less full, you may want to size down from what you typically wear. I recommend you wear this tank with anything from 2 - 6” negative ease (even with some negative ease, the style of the pattern has the feel and fit of positive ease.)

Sizing Tip: If in doubt, size down!
If you’re between sizes or want a tighter fit around the bust, size down! The built-in ease will produce a tank with a lot of drape and looser cups -- perfect for a flowy garment to pair with a bralette, especially for those with fuller busts. If you intend to wear it without a bra or have a smaller bust-to-waist ratio, you’ll want to size down for a tighter fit of the cups.
Note: This tank has not been tested for sizes 4XL or 5XL. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please send me a message and I will send you a free copy of the pattern.
