This worsted weight hat features a striking geometric design worked using only knit and purl stitches. It is knitted in the round and is suitable for a confident beginner. The simple design and worsted yarn make it a very quick knit!
The hat can be adjusted to be more slouchy if desired.

You will need:
Recommended yarn: Malabrigo Rios.
Worsted weight: 155 - 173 m / 170 - 189 yds.
The sample used Malabrigo Rios in Gris colourway.
Best suited to a solid colour.

Needles and Notions:
You can used DPN’s or circular needles for this project, I recommend a circular needle 24”/ 60 cm long.
4.5 mm (US 7) needle(s) (main needle) or size required to obtain gauge.
4.0 mm (US 6) needles for ribbing or 0.5 mm smaller than your main needle.
Central stitch marker, darning needle to sew in ends.

Gauge:
22 sts x 28 rows for 4” (10 cm) using 4.5 mm (US 7) in pattern, after washing and drying flat.

Size:
Teen: To fit ~18-19”/46-48 cm
Adult: To fit ~20-23”/51-58 cm
The hat has plenty of ease.
