Escherian Geometric Blanket
The Escherian Geometric Blanket Pattern is an asymmetrical mix of intersecting planes. The stitches in this design are not complicated, but it definitely requires focus and care to achieve an accurate and consistent look! If you love geometric patterns and are looking for a challenge, this is the pattern for you!
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 8 balls of Alize Puffy yarn (3.53oz, 100g) (Image shown is the colour ‘646’). -OR- 5 BALLS OF BERNAT ALIZE BLANKET-EZ YARN, ANY COLOUR
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 42” x 50” (107cm x 127 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ can be substituted and the blanket will be the same size, but you will need fewer skeins of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, and Red Heart Loop-It yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
