I saw a knitted cowl very similar to this in River Island a few weeks ago and thought I would try and crochet one for myself instead of spending £20.00 and this is the result.
It is so easy to make once you get the overall idea of how the pattern works and the result is really nice. I made this to 60 inches long by 9 inches wide but it can be made to any size you wish.
I used Stylecraft Special DK because it’s cheap but also feels soft to the touch unlike some other 100% Acrylic brands. You can crochet this in any DK weight yarn though.
This would also be great as just a normal scarf.
