Version 2019.2 is correct
Do know in Chart 4: all rows with dots need to be read; left to right to come out best.
An Introduction to Shetland lace! (sort of sampler)
An easy way to get yourself into knitting Shetland lace. The patterns get a little bit more difficult with each pattern part and you work your way up to a lovely combination of shell-like patterns.
The repeats are short and quick and may result in : … just one more…
The edging is worked later and could be in a different colour.
In the end you will have a beautiful display of a variety of Shetland patterns and a very pretty shawl to wear proudly.
For the knitter that can knit lace and wants to go a little further.
Lace patterns are worked in EACH row.
For the centre: the rows for the Heart are written. Main pattern, no written rows.
You can knit this in a thicker yarn, please note you might need more yarn.
