The body section is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch with the purl side to the front; and the sleeves are knitted top down in the round with a circular needle (or double pointed needles). At the back of the neck there are short rows to improve the fit. The neck edge, front edges, armholes and bottom edge are finished with a cord edge which is knitted at the same time as the main work progresses. The flower design is knitted with long stitches.

Nutun vartalo-osa neulotaan alhaalta ylöspäin, tasona ja sileänä neuleena, josta nurjat silmukat tulevat päällepäin. Hihat neulotaan väliaikaisesta aloituksesta ylhäältä alaspäin ja pyörönä. Takana niskassa on lyhennettyjä kerroksia istuvuutta parantamassa. Pääntien, nappilistojen, kädenteiden ja alareunan reunat huolitellaan nostettujen silmukoiden nauhalla samalla kun työ edistyy. Alareunan kukkakuvio neulotaan pitkillä silmukoilla.
