This is a warm shawl with a lovely deep textured stitch pattern. It has an interesting construction, knitted from one short edge of the triangle up to the point. Three different edgings are used, with a pretty looped selvedge to allow enough ease at the top edge. It reminded me of Victorian plaid shawls - you can add a fringe if you wish.

The stitch pattern (adapted from Barbara Walker) looks great in many different weights of yarn, so I have included some instructions on how to vary the size. It’s a fairly easy knit - nothing more tricky than an occasional P2tog tbl.
