You can make this blanket in any size you choose due to it being made up of squares. The puff stitch border can be worked on any size blanket and you can make it as many rows deep as you prefer!

I used Stylecraft Special DK for the photographed sample but this pattern would work for any weight yarn with the recommended hook size for the yarn.
