This pattern features a simple twisted-stitch diamond lattice, that you don’t even need to use a cable needle to make (although those directions are also included). The easy pattern is fully charted, and also includes two variations on the design, and simple instructions to make the lovely tassels.

The first two variations use a worsted weight yarn, and the third variation is a little smaller, using DK - with its squared base it’s also the perfect size to carry an iPad or tablet.

Version 2 has a flower motif purled into the diamond spaces, then this can also be highlighted with a simple chain stitch.

This versatile Esmeralda Bag is quick to knit, and would make a gorgeous gift for someone special, especially you!
