Skill level: INTERMEDIATE

You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, slip stitch. This skirt is made with Slip Stitches through front and back loop.

This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes Many photos of the process.

The main Instructions are for the long skirt but the length adjustable and I have added some measures and instructions of how to adjust the length for shorter skirt.

Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL

XS Bust> 30 1/2 - 32 1/2”/ 78-82cm, Waist> 23 - 24 1/2”/ 58-62cm, Hip> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm

S Bust> 32 1/2 - 34” / 82-86cm, Waist>24 1/2 - 27” / 62-68cm, Hip> 35 1/2 - 37” / 90-94cm

M Bust> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm, Waist> 27 - 29” / 68-74cm, Hip> 37 - 38 1/2” / 94-98cm

L Bust> 35 1/2 - 38” / 90-96cm, Waist> 29 - 31” / 74-80cm, Hip> 38 1/2 - 40” / 98-102cm

XL Bust> 36 - 40” / 96-102cm, Waist>31 - 33” / 80-84cm, Hip> 40 - 42” / 102-106cm

XXL Bust> 40 - 42” / 102-106cm, Waist>33 - 35” / 84-88cm, Hip> 42 - 43 1/2” / 106-110cm

Materials
* Yarn» Yarn weight is Fine/2 or DK/Light worsted. You can use any yarn that fits into the gauge.
The skirts in pictures above are made Sirdar Color Wheel (selfstriping) and Novita Woody Wool (orange skirt). The skirt in the pictures below in instructions is made with Sirdar Color Wheel.

Yardage»
Meters 1100(1150,1270,1330,1470,1550) meters. Yards 1200(1260,1390,1450,1600,1700) yds.

Other yarn suggestions> Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, Rowan Felted Tweed DK, Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, Rico Essentials Cotton DK, Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK, Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 Ply. You can use any material just consider that for example cotton, bamboo and linen weigh more and end up longer when wearing.

Crochet hook for the main fabric in hem: 6mm/10/J or whatever to obtain the gauge. I have used the same hook for both hem and waist although
the gauge is different, just working the stitches in ribbing little bit tighter (according to the gauge).

Needle to sew the seam.

Stitch markers.

Wide Elastic band around the waist (measure your waist to find out the length needed), width approximately 3cm/1.18”
