This pattern was originally made out of a heavy worsted weight yarn, but any size yarn could be used as long as you use the right sized hook. The amount of yarn you need will depend on the weight, but Esmeralda doesn’t require a lot of yarn. Made out of heavy worsted weight, Esmeralda is around 6 inches tall.
