Espalier
Originally published in Making Stories Issue 3, Espalier is a top-down seamless raglan sweater featuring a bold colourwork motif on the lower part of the body and sleeves. The colourwork portion of the pattern is worked one colour at a time, resulting in a zig-zag pattern that stands out beautifully from the rest of the fabric. Anatomically curved raglan lines and optional bust darts ensure an excellent fit while the contrasting ribbing at the neckline, hem and cuffs provides an elegant finish.
