Hat: MC 80 yards (73 meters) + CC 45 yards (41 meters)
Cowl: MC 90 yards (82 meters) + CC 55 yards (50 meters)
Total yardage needed for set 270 yards (246 meters) each of MC + CC.

Yarn:
Swift Cozy DK (100% superwash extra fine merino; 250 yards/115 grams)

Recommend 2 highly contrasting colors. 1 light and 1 darker or brighter. You can use 2 tonals or semi-solids or 2 speckled colors or 1 of each. To get maximum effect of the color fading and the texture, contrasting colors work best.
