Pattern is written for sizes:
Preemie: head circumference 11” / 28 cm
0-3 mo: head circumference 13 ¾“ / 35 cm
3-6 mo: head circumference 17 ¼” / 42- 44 cm
6-12 mo: head circumference 18 ½” / 47 cm

To make this hat you will need:
-Approximately 70 (90, 110, 120) yards/ 64 (82, 101, 110) meters of superfine (1) weight yarn.
Soft sock yarn works great for this project.
-One 16” or 9” circular needle and one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauge listed.
Suggested Needle Size: 2.75 mm (US 2).

-Stitch markers, Tapestry needle.

Difficulty level: Intermediate.
Knowledge and comfort with the following techniques are recommended: Knitting in the round, Increasing, Decreasing, Short rows.
