Estela is the name of a knitting friend who gave me the wonderful yarn with which I have knitted the shawl. I wanted to return her gift by naming my creation after her.

Stela’s shawl begins in the center of the nape and goes out to the edge, acquiring the shape of a crescent, resulting in a light, delicate and openwork garment. It can be done with any thickness of wool, from fingering to yarn without changing the needle; it will simply affect its transparency.

Estela es el nombre de una amiga tejedora que me regaló el maravilloso hilo con la que he tejido el chal. Quería devolverle su regalo nombrando mi creación como ella.

El chal de Stela e comienza en el centro de la nuca y se trabaja hacia afuera, hasta el borde, adquiriendo forma de media luna, dando lugar a una prenda calada, ligera y delicada. Se puede hacer con cualquier grosor de hilo, simplemente afectará lo transparente que quede y a su tamaño.
