This is an open front cardigan, with rounded hem at front, featuring pineapple patterns against a background of plain double crochet sts at lower part of the cardigan. The back, front and arms are worked from bottom up, ending with raglan shaping in a fan pattern. Then you finish off with a shawl collar around back and front piece in fan patterns as well.
The shape of this design is cropped and slimmed, great to cover your shoulders on a chilly summer night.
The cardigan in pictures is crocheted with alpaca, which can be replaced by any sport/baby weight yarn, cotton, wool or alpaca alike. The pictures show a size S, but the pattern is written for woman’s size S, M, L, XL, XXL, and XXXL, complete with crochet charts and illustrations (designs differ slightly to fit different sizes, the larger sizes have 3 pineapples on each front piece for ex).
