We will begin our scarf with an Estonian Edge stitch. Then as we explore the world of Estonian Lace, including nupps, gathers, and yarn overs, we will add a new stitch pattern to our scarf. Your piece will be approximately 10 inches wide, with each month adding approximately 4 - 5 inches or more in length.

You will need:

600 - 700 yards lace or fingering weight yarn (solid or tonal preferred)

Size 4US/3.50mm or 5US/3.75mm needles

Approximately 650 8/0 (for lace weight) or 6/0 (for fingering weight) beads (optional)

11 Life Lines (contrasting scrap lace weight yarn)
