US sizes 11/8mm & 13/9mm 16” circular needles
Suggested yarns: Malabrigo Rasta / Baah Mammoth (Approximately 90-110 yards)
Approximate measurements: 9.5” tall and 8.5” wide
NOTES:
Hat features a split brim design. The brim of the hat is knitted flat and later joined in the round for the body.
Stitch marker placement is crucial in this pattern. Please pay close attention to stitch marker placement throughout the pattern.
For Baah Mammoth, I used exactly one skein for the beanie along with the 12 strands for the braids. For Malabrigo Rasta, I needed extra yardage to complete the braids. Although the two brands have the same yardage, the fibers will knit up differently.There are four decreasing options for this beanie.
