To make this E.T. amigurumi, I use Patons DK Smoothie in ‘Linen’, as well as very small amounts of blue, black and white yarn for the eyes. This yarn is DK weight and this results in E.T. being 9.5cm tall.

You could of course use chunkier yarn and a larger hook to achieve a bigger E.T.—the stitches have to be worked fairly tightly however so that you can’t see the stuffing inside him.
