Eternal Sunshine
Eternal Sunshine Shawl is an easy knit, originally made with soft, luxurious Lace base from Malabrigo. The 430 metres per 50 grams makes this lace/garter stitch shawl airy and light and gives a delicate look.
Given the fine fibre you’d think that a small needle would be necessary, but this garment is actually made with a 3,75 mm (US 5) needle. If you choose a heavier base than Malabrigo’s Lace the shawl will naturally become larger and have a different look and feel.
I have used 2 skeins of Malabrigo Lace for this project - well, actually only 80 grams. Lace comes in a multitude of different colours, Yarn Lovers stock 54 of them. Should make it easy for you to choose your favourite :-)
Happy knitting!
