Knitting Pattern for a Sweater in a special decorative cable pattern in sizes XS | S | M/L (L/XL |2XL | 3XL) 4XL/5XL

Structure:
The sweater is worked top down with raglan increases in one piece.
First of all, the sweater is worked in cable pattern back and forth in rows to shape the round neck.
As soon as the front parts are joined to the round, the yoke is worked in cable pattern and with raglan increases until the sleeves are separated from the body (and the sleeve stitches are put to rest).
Then, the body is worked without any increases anymore until you reach your desired length and is finished off with a hem in 2x2 ribbing. The sleeves are worked straight in cable pattern and finished off with cuffs in 2x2 ribbing corresponding to the body hem. Finally, stitches are picked up along the round neck to work
the collar in 2x2 ribbing.
The design of the sweater is very aesthetic due to the decorative and intricate cable pattern. The neutral to slightly positive ease
creates a comfortable and very classic fit.

Materials:
275 | 300| 325 (350 | 350 375) 400 g Cashmere Classic by Cardiff Cashmere (112 m/ 25 g) – for the version with shorter sleeves you will need 2 | 2 | 2 (2 | 3 | 3) 4 balls less per size
Note: If you use different yarn, check the yardage to be sure you have the right amount of yarn!
4 mm and 3,5 mm circular knitting needles (optional: DPNS in the required size for the sleeves or short knitting needles with a short rope), cable needle
1 darning needle
Stitch markers/left overs

Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 24 sts x 36 rs in pattern on 4 mm knitting needles (wet blocked)

Bust Circumference Finished Sweater:
86 | 93 | 107 (113 | 120 | 131) 146mcm with a neutral to positive ease of 0 to 7 cm.
Length Finished Sweater:
52 | 54,5 | 56 (59 | 61 | 63) 65 cm – can be adapted individually
Sleeve Length (from the armpits down):
38 cm (+ 6 cm cuffs) – can be adapted individually
Sleeve Circumference: 34 | 40 | 46 (50 | 50 | 53) 53 cm
