This is a very simple dress knitted all in one piece from the top down on straight needles. It has a garter stitch yoke and lace skirt.

It is designed to fit an 18” Happy Kidz Gotz doll. It could be shortened and made into a tunic too.

Bergere de France have Ideal listed as DK but for some reason on Ravelry it comes up as Sport. I think either a fine DK or sport weight yarn would be fine, but I used Ideal which was perfect.

I only used 1 ball, but got right to the end of it! The garter stitch hem could be shortened if you start to run out of yarn.

The lace pattern is an easy one to remember and is 4 lines long. Two of them though are just straight Purl rows. I think you will soon remember the pattern and also be able to see clearly if you go wrong. Just keep an eye on the yarn overs, otherwise you will be short of stitches.

If you have any problems at all, please message me and I will try and help.

The dress also seems to fit my AG doll, but if you want a looser fit then maybe go up a needle size.
