In der griechischen Mythologie ist die Eule Begleiterin der Athena. Sie steht für einen bestimmten Aspekt der Göttin: die Weisheit. Seit jeher wird die Eule in vielen Teilen der Welt und unterschiedlichen Kulturen als sehr kluger oder weiser Vogel betrachtet und mit Wissen und Intelligenz assoziiert.

Die Mütze „Eulenruf“ wird von unten nach oben gestrickt. Auf einem schlichten rechts-links gestricktem Bündchen thront eine Reihe von Eulen mit funkelnden Augen. Über ihnen symbolisieren Säulen aus verzopften Hebemaschen den Ruf der Eulen, der sich in der Nacht ausbreitet.

In Greek mythology the owl is a companion of Athena and symbolizes a certain aspect of the goddess: the wisdom. All along the owl is seen as a clever and wise bird in many parts of the world and in various cultures. Also owls are associated with knowledge and intelligence.

The hat „Owl’s Howl“ is knitted bottom-up. Above a simple ribbed brim sits a row of owls with sparkling eyes. Above the owls columns made of cabled slipped stitches symbolize the owl’s howl that that spreads into the night.
