Euler's Stripes
The order was “a scarf I can wrap around my neck twice” from a friend who helps out with computer knowledge. (Aka geek ;) )
So it had to be long, I wanted stripes but not boring regular ones. And I didn’t want to use pi to determine the stripes because everyone has already done that. So I picked Euler’s number to create the pattern.
The scarf knits easily in seed stitch, it has a pointy ends to create a bit more interest and I used four colors, one is the dominant color.
It is suitable for beginners with patience, because knitting is not complicated, but it’s long: 2.30m/2.50yds
