The bag has an oval base, a front and back panel and two sides. If you’ve knitted a toe-up sock, you’ll find it easy to get the bag started . If not, it’s a fun time to learn!

Working in the round, the bag knits up quickly. It’s roomy and very sturdy. Best of all, since it’s knit with Euroflax it will hold up to years of use through many machine wash and dry cycles!

The pattern calls for two 24” Circular US 4 needles to start the base oft he bag. A cast-on such as the Turkish cast-on or Judy’s Magic Cast on can be used for the base. Once the base is finished, a single 24” needle is used for the remainder of the bag, knit in the round.

The pattern calls for two colors, a full skein of one color and about a half of the second color. Pattern notes suggest alternates for using more colors and alternate straps.
