Europa
Three shawls inspired by traditional knitting techniques from Estonia and the Shetland Islands.
The crescent and Triangle samples were knit on 2.25mm/US1 needles with Zegna Baruffa Cashwool Extra Fine Merino, color 20266 light grey.
The triangle is knit from the top down with approximately 40g/600m/660yds. Dimensions after blocking: approx. 49x26in/124x66cm.
The crescent is knit from the bottom up with approximately 42g/630m/700yds. Dimensions after blocking: approx. 44in/112cm x 21in/53cm at centre back.
The triangle variation sample was knit on 3.5mm/US4 needles with720m/780yds of Wollmeise Lace-Garn, and measures 67in/170cm x 35in/90cm.
