have you spotted sprays of tall pink blooms late in the season? chances are good that they’re eutrochium, a perennial wildflower native to much of north america. used as an herbal remedy for lowering fevers and other illnesses, these flowers can grow taller than humans in ideal soil conditions.
the stitch pattern on these socks mimics the shapes created by eutrochium’s open leaves and flower clusters. ribbing along the full length of the back leg means this pattern will give an excellent fit to a wider range of calves. you can extend or shorten the length by adding or removing repeats of the main chart, making it the perfect sock for most wardrobes! choose a durable all-natural sock yarn for happy feet.
