The Eva Tabard is a quick, colourful layering piece designed to add versatility to your wardrobe and skills to your knitting repertoire. Front and back are cast on using a tubular cast on and knit separately, then seamed at the shoulder. Contrasting icord edging and ties are added for practicality and interest.

Select the measurement closest to your actual chest measurement. As the sides of the garment are open and caught with icord ties, the finished garment is designed to be 10 –15 cm/ 4-6” less than chest circumference. This is not negative ease – more like negative space to be filled with the textures and colours of other garments or skin.

Main Colour (MC): 1(2, 2, 2)(3, 3, 3, 3) x 100 g La Bien Aimee Corrie Confetti in Ultramarine #1 (50% Falkland Corriedale, 30% Recycled Fibres, 20% La Bien Aimee Recycled Threads; 230 m/ 250 yards per 100 g) or equivalent

CC1: 1 (1, 1, 1) (2, 2, 2, 2) x 50 g Brooklyn Tweed Tones Light in Zest (100% American Columbia Wool; 206 m / 225 yards per 50 g) or equivalent
CC2: 1 (1, 1, 1)(2, 2, 2, 2) x 20 g Ito Sensai in Lime (60% Mohair, 40% Silk; 240 m / 262 yards per 20 g) or equivalent
Note: CC1 and CC2 are to be held together. One or both may be replaced by yarn/s with similar fibre content, weight and length per 100g as those recommended above, OR a single light worsted weight yarn.
