I have seen a very wonderfully made crochet version of the EvangeHat using the single crochet stitch elsewhere online, however I find single crochet to be very slow and painstaking. Therefore I have created this double crochet version which is much faster. I can crochet one of these in a few hours while watching TV in the evening.

This pattern is a good stash buster. Just be sure to use yarns of the same weight.
