Eve & Adam Bandana Cowl
Eve & Adam is made for all genders and beginners who would like to improve their skills and knit a bandana cowl. The minimal design lets the lovely details shine and gives you the possibility to knit with variegated and speckled hand-dyed yarns.
This pattern is the reversed twin version of the Adam & Eve Bandana Cowl. It is written for 3 yarn weights – fingering, sport and DK – and two lengths.
Construction
The simple unisex bandana cowl is made bottom-up.
From the cast-on at the tip, the first section is knit flat in stockinette stitch. After reaching a certain amount of stitches, more are added, and the piece gets joined in the round.
The lines from the sides are further developed and add an interesting detail at the back. It feels very architectural and makes sure the cowl lies down beautifully on your neck.
The last thing to add is the tassel at the bottom tip – if you like.
Yarn
Generally, this pattern is a one-skein-wonder – written up for three yarn weights: fingering, sport and DK.
It is made for hand-dyed yarns and makes especially those colorways with speckles and variegations shine like no other. A base with at least 50% wool is recommended.
