Eve Trousers
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Eve Trousers feature a high-waisted, cropped, flared silhouette that combines style and elegance. Start your work
by knitting the elastic waistband, then continue with the body, working each leg separately and finishing with a hem.
This pattern is ideal for intermediate knitters.
The sequin yarn is soft, comfortable to wear, and will make you shine wherever you go.
SIZES
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)
Sizes above correspond with the following measurements:
Waist Circumference:
60-64 (64-68) 68-72 (72-76) 76-80 (80-84) 84-88 (88-92) cm
Hips Circumference:
86-90 (90-94) 94-98 (98-102) 102-106 (106-110) 110-114 (114-118) cm.
Measure your own waist and chest circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.
Photos above: I’m wearing size XS / 168 cm tall / Waist: 66 cm / Hips: 84 cm
TIPS: If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the size that best matches your hip circumference.
MEASUREMENTS
The Eve Trousers are designed with approximately 4 cm of negative ease at the waist and 8 cm at the hips, meaning the
finished garment will be 4 cm smaller than your actual waist circumference and 8 cm smaller than your hip circumference.

GAUGE
Knit a stockinette stitch swatch and measure the gauge on the right side, where the knit stitches are visible. Due to the
sequins, the tension may be slightly uneven, and the gauge can vary depending on where it is measured.
To get an average stitch gauge, I measured in six different spots on my swatch and in five different spots for the row
gauge. - Add up the number of stitches counted across the six locations and divide by 6. - Do the same for the row gauge, dividing the total by 5.
You should obtain the following gauge: 19 sts x 26 r = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, 3 strands of yarn held together,
on needle size 4 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches
on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
When knitting stockinette in the round, the gauge may vary.
The average gauge when worked in the round is: 17.5 sts x 19.5 r.
