Evelyn Sweater is knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. First, the back piece is knitted, and later stitches are picked up for
each shoulder. The two front pieces are joined after the shoulder pieces are knitted, and later, the front piece is knit together
with the back piece under the armhole. The body is knit in the round in stockinette stitch with a stripe pattern and finished
with a ribbed edge and Italian bind-off. The sleeves and neckline are knit from picked-up stitches along the armhole and neck
opening.
