Evening in Edinburgh
If you put three of my patterns in your cart for purchase, the fourth pattern will be free.
Evening in Edinburgh is the third pattern in the “Packing for Edinburgh” set and is a swing coat knit up in a statement color, which goes from lunch to museum, from pub to dinner. It is knit from the top down and you may do this back and forth (Suckers! Why aren’t you steeking?!) or in the round with a steek at the end that takes about 15 minutes. They are separate files.
There are increases that occur after the separation of the sleeves, and you may stop when it’s the length that is right for you, shorter or longer. Just try it as you go along.
The arms are kimono style and not shaped. They are bracelet length but you may make them longer or shorter if you like. Please note that fabric may grow after blocking.
