Evening Primrose
by Sara Greer
Evening Primrose is a design for under sleeves, something that was popular in Jane Austin’s time. These are simple and go quickly.
I used a yarn that is almost equal amounts of wool and silk. This made the sleeves sturdier and warmer because of the silk, but still has the elasticity of the wool.
They are finished with a crocheted bind off using simple crochet stitches of chain, slip and single crochets.
