Keep warm in the winter with this beautiful afghan covered with giant snowflakes. The reversible design was achieved by alternating rows of white with shades of blue or grey, using a combination of sc and long hdc which are worked into the previous row. The long hdc are worked with one color on odd rows and the contrasting colors on even rows creating the reversible effect. A length of yarn is left at each end of all white rows for fringe, contrasting colors are woven in. Extra white is added to embellish the fringe. A design chart is also included for reference.
