Little bit of glow from mohair, a little sparkle from beads and a fun decorative stitch. You put these elements together and you get an easy to make and fabulous to wear beanie. You will want to make more than one especially when you realize how addicting beading your knits can be!
Sizes:
Size 1, 2 + 3 to fit approximate head circumferences 21”(53 cm) to 23” (58 cm)
Materials:
120 - 140 yards or 109 - 128 meters of fingering weight and lace weight. Yarns held together. Yarn: Swift Formal Fingering (55% superwash blue faced leicester + 45% silk; 437 yards/100 grams) and Swift Fluff (70% kid mohair + 30% silk; 460 yards/50 grams)
Skill Level
Intermediate because of beading. Perfect for an advanced beginner looking to add to their knitting skills!
Gauge
Body of hat: 4”/10cm = 18 stitches
Ribbing of hat will seem small at first but stretches to provide a secure and snug fit.
