This is a lightweight, lacy shawl ideal for warm summer evenings, and it develops quite quickly. I have recommended a skein of a plain coloured yarn combined with a speckled yarn, but any complementary combination of colours could be used.
The shawl gets its name from the way that triangles are incorporated into its design, from the central large triangle, to the smaller V stitches and ‘bunting’ edging down the sides.
One section of the shawl does use FPTB and BPTB (UK terms) but if you are not sure about these or do not like the textured effect of these stitches, you can simply use a regular treble stitch.
