Evergreen Chevron
I really enjoyed making the Evergreen Blanket last year. I thought it would be fun to make a chevron version of it this year. I love how the peaks and valleys of the chevron pair with the open spaced rows to continue the Midwife square design. It’s what I call a crochet blessing!
This is a 7 row repeat that uses a simple series of open spaces to create this cute evergreen tree cutout design. Simply repeat the tree sections until your blanket is as long as you want.
I made a large throw blanket, but you can make more or less repeats or use thinner yarn and corresponding hook to make yours a different size. My finished blanket is 59” long and 50” wide.
