Everlasting Love Mosaic
Overlay Mosaic Crochet - Centre-Out
Now includes a Dutch translation, courtesy of my dear friend, Caroline Tigchelaar.

Everlasting Love is one pattern, with limitless possibilities, depending on where you choose to finish, and whether / how you change colours.
The pattern includes detailed instructions for 3 versions (small tile, large tile, and continuous), but you are very welcome to experiment, and create your own unique variation.
Pattern includes clear marked charts, and full written instructions.
The pattern includes details of the yarn I used, but you can use any yarn you wish, just make sure that you have a good contrast between your C1 and C2 colours, and you use a hook appropriate to your yarn.
If you wish to make the Table Runner / Placemats, and are planning to stand hot things on them, I recommend you use a cotton yarn, as man-made fibres may melt if they get hot.
To simplify the abbreviations, and avoid the need for separate UK and US versions, the pattern is written in my ’Universal’ terms (I developed these terms for the Jacquard Temperature Blanket and have also used them in Flora’s Fauna and all my subsequent overlay mosaic crochet patterns).
If you want to find out more about my Universal terms, please see this short video https://youtu.be/IsubXOfEuVw
I haven’t recorded videos specifically for this design, so if you are new to working overlay mosaic crochet in the round (from centre out) I recommend you start by downloading my free Little Mosaic Squares pattern, which does have video support.

A little more about Everlasting Love, and its inspiration:
Crochet Society members may remember I designed the patterns for Box 43, and one of them was a pretty heart-themed blanket (Heart Over Heart).
Whilst writing this up, I had the idea that it would also work in the round, with some minor adjustments … hence “Everlasting Love” was born.
