The Everwinter “double-knitted’’ scarf is a dream for winter days.
Its soft white base is adorned with intricate snowflakes, each one shimmering in rich blue shades with hints of warm browns and orange speckles evoking the magic of a snow-covered forest.

With an adjustable length and a matching fringe, this scarf is as versatile as it is beautiful.
Worked on 4mm needles, the double knit construction ensures warmth, comfort and a wonderfully cozy texture.
Imagine wrapping yourself in a cloud while being stylish all winter long!

The yarn used is Malabrigo Arroyo 943 White for the main colour (four hanks or approx. 1350 yards for both sides of the double knitted scarf) and Malabrigo Arroyo 162 Rumbo (one hank, or two in case of looser tension) for the snowflakes.

The gauge is 25 stitches x 33 rows in a 4x4 inch (10x10 centimetres) blocked swatch in stockinette stitch.

The size of this scarf is approximately 20x170cm (8“x67”) without the fringe, and 200cm (78.5”) with.

Meeting the gauge in a scarf is not a must and you can use your favourite yarns and the needle size they ask for. You can also feel free to make it as long or as short as you like!

The pattern includes charts and written instructions and it’s an easy knit for intermediate knitters who are familiar with stranded colourwork. It can be double knitted, worked flat and seamed or in the round.
