Every Moment of Forever Scarf
The scarf is narrow (just 4” wide), but very long, so that you can wrap it around your neck twice and still have the tails showing off the pattern.
FOR TEST KNITTERS:
You will need 1000-1200 yards of fingering weight yarn.
I’ve done my best to calculate yardage based on a past project using the same yarn and a slightly shorter pattern with the same construction style.
Dark blue/green= 500 yards
Dark teal= 160 yards
Mid teal= 300 yards
Pale teal= 375 yards
Colourways suggested:
Dark Blue-Green: Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight colourway fc41, Dark Teal Blue (4 balls/500yards)
Dark Teal: Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight, colourway fc34, (1 -2 balls/160 yards)
Mid Teal: Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight colourway 071, Bright Turquoise ( 2 1/2 balls/ 300yards)
Pale Teal: Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight colourway 075, Light Turquoise (3 balls/375 yards)
I’m trying to be generous with estimates so that you don’t end up with too little yarn, but one of the most important things for me to get test knitter feedback on is how much yarn other knitters use, as I know it will vary depending on the individual’s tension.
