This pattern, and all my patterns, are written in standard Canadian/US terms.

This pattern contains instructions to make both the Beanie style and the Messy Bun/Ponytail Beanie style. It is written for one size fits most teen/adult and is worked in the round. If you’d prefer a more slouchy style, this can be accomplished by adding an extra set of the repeated rounds. You can use most light #4 worsted weight yarns for this pattern, double stranded.

This Everyday Beanie and/or Messy Bun Beanie is sure to be the perfect accessory for your fall and winter wardrobe. It is both stylish and functional and is sure to become your favorite everyday go-to hat. Recommended for beginners to experienced knitters and works up quickly.

Sizing is adjustable depending on the length of the hat band you choose, and by going up or down a hook size to get the right size for you.
